An open letter published online has called for a pause in vaccinating Singapore’s youths. This follows the death of a 13-year-old American boy, who died shortly after receiving his second dose of Covid-19 vaccine. The Ministry of Health and a senior infectious diseases specialist from the National Centre for Infectious Diseases has called out the letter and explained why vaccines are safe for youths.
