The initial investigation into the Jammu Indian Air Force technical area blast case uncovered that drones were used to drop ‘impact' IEDs at the airbase.
Sources said that the drone attack on the Indian Air Force (IAF) station in Jammu was carried out using highly explosive "impact" IEDs.
It is the first time in India that an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) has been used to attack critical infrastructure, sources added.
