The Enforcement Directorate has filed a case under the Money Laundering Act in connection with the religious conversion racket busted by the UP Police's Anti-Terrorism Squad. Uttar Pradesh Police's ATS arrested Mufti Qazi Jahangir Qasmi and Mohammad Umar Gautam earlier this week for allegedly running an outfit involved in converting deaf students and other poor people to Islam. Now the ED has also registered a case of money laundering in this case.
