ICC Congratulates New Zealand for Winning World Test Championship 2021| Oneindia Sports

ICC Acting CEO Geoff Allardice has congratulated New Zealand on winning the inaugural World Test Championship beating India in a riveting final at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton. WTC is the first major ICC trophy for the New Zealand cricket team since 2000 and an incredibly tight game saw New Zealand bowl out India for 170 in the second innings, leaving them 139 to chase for victory. "I would like to congratulate the first-ever World Test Champions, the Black Caps who displayed the skill and temperament required to be the best Test team in the world," Geoff Allardic said in an official release by ICC.

Virat Kohli सिर्फ एक मैच के बूते World Test Championship जीतने वाली New Zealand की टीम बेस्ट नहीं मान रहे हैं. Virat Kohli का कहना है कि सिर्फ एक मैच के बिनाह पर बेस्ट टीम का चयन नहीं हो सकता है. इसके लिए तीन मैचों की सीरिज होनी चाहिए. जिसे बेस्ट ऑफ़ थ्री फाइनल भी कह सकते हैं. फिर उसके आधार पर जो टीम ज्यादा मैच जीतेगी, उसे बेस्ट टीम कहा जाएगा. ये आइडिया Kohli ने ICC को दिया. पर ICC को इससे फर्क नहीं पड़ता. ICC मान चुका है कि New Zealand की टीम टेस्ट में वर्ल्ड चैंपियन है. और बयान भी जारी किया है. ICC के एक्टिंग सीईओ ने NZ की टीम को दुनिया की बेस्ट टेस्ट टीम बताया है।
