The World Test Championship title match between Team India and New Zealand is being played in Southampton, England. In this match, Team India had high hopes from its opener Shubhman Gill. But he could not do much in both the innings. In both the innings of the match, Gill could only score 28 and 8 runs. Now former Team India cricketer Aakash Chopra has given a big statement regarding Shubman Gill. He has said that Shubman Gill will play Test cricket for the Indian team for a long time but he may not be able to play as an opener for long.


Team India और New Zealand के बीच World Test Championship का खिताबी मुकाबला इंग्लैंड के Southampton में खेला जा रहा है। इस मैच में Team India को उसके सलामी बल्लेबाज़ Shubhman Gill से काफी उम्मीदें थी। लेकिन वो दोनों पारियों में कुछ ख़ास नहीं कर पाए। मैच की दोनों पारियों में Gill मात्र 28 और 8 रन ही बना पाए। अब Shubman Gill को लेकर Team India के पूर्व Cricketer Aakash Chopra ने बड़ा बयान दिया है। उन्होंने कहा है कि Shubman Gill अभी लंबे समय तक Indian Team के लिए Test Cricket खेलेंगे लेकिन शायद ज्यादा दिन तक वो ओपनर के तौर पर ना खेल पाएं। Aakash Chopra के मुताबिक Gill अगर लंबे समय तक खेलते हैं तो फिर मिडिल ऑर्डर बल्लेबाज के तौर पर खेलेंगे ।
