Jhumi River swells, villages submerge in West Bengal

Heavy rain caused flood in several rural areas of Bengal’s West Midnapore. Jhumi River has swollen after downpour. People were seen using canoe for movement. “There is no drinking water here, lower areas are facing electricity cuts, flood has created a big problem to us,” a local told ANI.
