Does Kemba Walker for Al Horford Trade Help the Celtics?
"Al can move the needle. Al had a good year in Oklahoma City," Celtics' new GM and former coach Brad Stevens said about trading PG Kemba Walker for former Celtics PF/C Al Horford, which he believed was the best return. As Stevens continues. "Al played a critical role both on & off the court during his time in Boston & we’re excited to welcome him and his family back to the Celtics. His ability to elevate teammates with his experience & leadership make for a great addition."

Going down on June 18th, the deal consisted of trading away Walker, the No. 16 overall pick in the 2021 draft, and a 2025 second-round draft pick to Oklahoma City for Al Horford, Moses Brown, and a 2023 second-round pick.

The Garden Report debates how much of an impact does a returning Horford makes on the Celtics on the court and in the locker room? How well does Horford complement Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown now that they have bigger roles?
