Speaking at The Indian Express’ Idea Exchange event West Bengal Governor, Jagdeep Dhankhar said that he believed in constructive dialogue & that the Mamata government is in a confrontation with him & not the other way around. Responding to a question about why he engaged more with the media than with the state govt he added that the media in West Bengal was silent and that he wanted to stop the democratic fabric of the state from being strained.
