The Delhi government increased the dearness allowance (DA) for daily wagers working in the capital city in a bid to hike their overall minimum wages. The move will benefit unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled and other workers in all scheduled employments under the aegis of the Delhi government. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the order shall be applicable from April 1.
Corona Lockdown से अब तक सबसे ज्यादा पीड़ित मजदूर ही हुए है। लॉकडाउन लगने के कारण इनका काम बंद हो गया। जिस वजह से मजदूरों को दो वक्त का खान भी नसीब नहीं हुआ। इन सभी परेशानियों के देखते हुए Delhi government ने कोरोना महामारी के बीच मजदूरों को बड़ी राहत दी है।
