Former Mumbai cop Pradeep Sharma was arrested by the National Investigation Agency on Thursday morning in Mumbai in the Antilia bomb scare and Mansukh Hiren murder cases. Pradeep Sharma had earlier contested elections on a Shiv Sena ticket. He was removed from the Mumbai Police in 2008 for his alleged links to the underworld. However, a year later, he was reinstated. He was, later, suspended again. After that, he left the force and entered politics.
