भारत में कोविड वैक्सीन लगवाने के बाद पहली मौत की पुष्टि हुई है। इसकी पुष्टि सरकार की तरफ से गठित की गई कमेटी- AEFI की तरफ से की गई है। रिपोर्ट में कहा गया कि गंभीर दुष्प्रभावों (जो कोरोनावायरस के टीकों से जुड़े हो सकते हैं) की एक सरकारी समीक्षा के अनुसार, 5 फरवरी से 31 मार्च के बीच कोविड -19 वैक्सीन लगवाने वाले लाखों लोगों में से तीन लोगों में वैक्सीन के कारण एनाफिलेक्सिस (anaphylaxis- एक तरह का एलर्जिक रिएक्शन) के लक्षण देखे गए। इस वजह से एक व्यक्ति की मौत भी हुई, इनकी उम्र 68 वर्ष थी।
