Djokovic claims 19th Grand Slam title after beating Tsitsipas in French Open

Novak Djokovic staged an unbelievable comeback to beat Stefanos Tsitsipas and win the French Open on Sunday, his 19th Grand Slam title overall.

The Serbian has become the first man in the open era to win all four majors twice.

Djokovic fought back from two sets down to beat Tsitsipas 6-7 (6), 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 for his second Roland Garros title.

As things stand, Djokovic is just one major trophy away from tying the men’s record of 20 shared by Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.

After his epic defeat of 13-time French Open champion Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals, Djokovic looked drained early on and the 22-year-old Tsitsipas had the upper hand for two sets.

However, as the match wore on Djokovic's serve began to dominate and he did not face a single break point over the last three sets.
