Amid the Covid-19-imposed lockdown, the Tamil Nadu government announced a few relaxations from June 14. Government parks will be open from 6 am to 9 am. Salons, beauty parlours and spas will reopen in 27 districts of the state, including Chennai and these facilities can now function on 50 per cent capacity. Taxis, auto-rickshaws will also be allowed to operate. The Covid-19-imposed lockdown is extended till June 21 in the state.
