Cometan delivers the first part of the Total Immersion into Astronism, a complete and extensive exposition of the Astronist belief system. This part focuses on the Astronist approach to the concept of salvation, particularly to denote salvation's contingency on exploration of the astronomical world physically, intellectually and mystically. This central belief about salvation has come to form the Astronist tradition of salvation called transcension, the study of which is formalised into the discipline of astrosoteriology.
