Yasir Arafat has said that he would have added Dhoni into the Pakistani playing XI as the captain of the Green Army if the latter was still an active cricketer on the international circuit. Speaking to Sports Yaari in an interview, the former Pakistani cricketer opined that the Azam-led side needs someone like Dhoni in their ranks. "MS Dhoni is not playing now, but if he had not retired, I would have taken him in the Pakistan XI as a captain. The current Pakistan team needs someone like Dhoni who knows the skill of man management. Arafat was quoted as saying.

Yasir Arafat ने MS Dhoni की कप्तानी की तारीफ करते हुए कहा कि अगर पाकिस्‍तान के पास MS Dhoni जैसा एक कप्तान हो तो काफी अच्छा रहेगा. स्पोर्ट्स यारी चैनल को दिए हुए एक इंटरव्यू में Yasir Arafat ने कहा, 'MS Dhoni ने अब रिटायरमेंट ले ली है. लेकिन अगर वो ऐसा नहीं करते तो मैं उन्‍हें Pakistan के कप्‍तान के रूप में चुनता. मौजूदा समय में पाकिस्‍तानी टीम को Dhoniजैसे लीडर की जरूरत है. हमारे खिलाड़ी प्रतिभाशाली हैं लेकिन उन्‍हें धोनी जैसे गुण वाले एक कप्तान की जरूरत है.'
