Woman Barges Into MLA’s House With Marriage Proposal | OTV News

In an awkward incident, a woman barged into the house of an Odisha MLA with a marriage proposal. The incident took place at Balipasi village in Angul district on Monday (January 25), when the woman landed in Pallahara MLA Mukesh Kumar Pal’s house seeking marriage with the legislator.
The matter came to light after the MLA lodged a police complaint against the woman. As per Pal’s complaint, the woman, who hails from Keonjhar, reached his house at Balipasi village and said she would stay put in his house unless he marries her. The woman allegedly threatened to ruin the Legislator’s political career by leveling false cases.
Mukesh mentioned that though he had received a marriage proposal, he had turned down the proposal six months back after dating for some time. However, the woman has been pestering him since then.
So when the woman turned up at his house and refused to leave, the legislator called Pallahara Police for help. Police then took the woman to the police station and dropped her in Keonjhar after interrogation.
Meanwhile, the woman has also lodged a counter complaint against the legislator.
