Odisha has urged the Centre to allocate Rs 7,200 Crore in the 2021-22 Railway Budget for various projects in the state. Odisha has sought Rs 3,500 Crore for different ongoing projects, for the second, third and fourth lines in existing routes. Rs 3,700 crore has been demanded for new projects. All these demands were put forth at the pre-budget consultation meeting.
