Puri Srimandir servitors will undergo COVID-19 test again. According to the directive of the temple administration, the servitors will undergo COVID-19 test again from today.

This decision has been taken by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) following suspected infections among the servitors due to increased footfall of devotees at the temple.

As per the decision, the COVID-19 swab test (RTPCR test) of the servitors will be conducted from today till February 27th. The servitors of different nijogs, office employees and outsourcing staff will undergo tests at Utkal Hindi Vidyapeetha situated on the Grand Road.

The letter by the SJTA also states that the number of RTPCR tests will be limited to 50 per day.
