Dingko Singh died on Thursday due to a prolonged illness. The Asian Games Gold Medallist Boxer was diagnosed with liver cancer and had been fighting this disease since 2017. No sooner the news of his demise broke out, Indian PM Narendra Modi also consoled the death of the boxer. Many other imminent names including VVS Laxman, Mary Kom, Vijender Singh and others paid tributes to the perished star.
