With the 31st National Road Safety Month being observed in Odisha, a State-level Cyclothon to generate awareness among the commuters was flagged off in the capital city today. The theme of the Cyclothon is ‘Pedal for Road Safety’ this year. With a message about road safety, several cyclists participated in the Cyclothon event today.

The Cyclothon rally began from the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) office and reached the Rajmahal square and then continued till the Ram Mandir Temple. During the Cyclothon rally, a few cyclists even showcased their skills and performed stunts. While Odisha Sports minister, Tusharkanti Behera inaugurated the event, Transport Commissioner Sanjeeb Panda, along with popular Ollywood actors Papu Pom Pom and Sabyasachi were also present during the flag-off.
