Three members of a family were killed after a dumper truck rammed into an auto-rickshaw at Goapalamala on Manamunda-Kantamala road in Boudh today. The three victims including a child were killed on the spot. Another member of the family who was travelling in the auto-rickshaw sustained critical injuries in the accident.
The deceased have been identified as Sarulata Naga, Sarojini Naga and Babula Naga. The dumper bearing registration number – OR 31 2223 overturned following a collision with the auto-rickshaw. The driver of the truck is stated to be absconding.
After receiving information, police reached the accident spot and started investigation into the accident.
