Though arguably it was a silent affair due to COVID-19, the spirit of Christmas was felt across Odisha. Devotees of all age groups celebrated the birth of Christ and prayed for the eradication of the pandemic. While most of the churches across Odisha allowed congregation of worshippers at the Church, a few decided to join Mass celebrations virtually because of restrictions. As per the guidelines, no more than 50 people were allowed in a congregation, while masks and social distancing guidelines were followed strictly.
