Nayagarh Minor Girl Murder Case: High Court Asks SIT To File Chargesheet

With Police claiming to have found enough evidence against the accused in the Nayagarh minor girl murder case, the Orissa High Court has ordered the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case to file a charge-sheet.
According to the sources, the status report submitted by the SIT on December 16 has not been opened yet by the court. Given the rapid turn of events in the murder case, the court has sought a chargesheet with the details of the recent events. The court observed that the probe agency should file the charge-sheet at the earliest as many days have elapsed since the case was filed.
