Women health worker attacked in Andhra Pradesh

In a shocking incident, a woman healthcare worker was dragged, thrashed and detained in Andhra Pradesh's Visakhapatnam. The incident took place when the police were restricting the movement of vehicles to stop the spread of Covid infection. The police claimed that they asked the health worker couple to show their permission letter when the couple broke out, whereas the women said that inspite of showing the letter, the police thrashed and detained her.
