Law expert speaks on sub judice

The sub judice rule has mostly been abolished in South Africa. That's according to Constitutional Law Expert, Pierre De Vos. He explains that the rule only applies if you say or do something which poses a real threat to a trial. This term has come up after Health Minister Zweli Mkhize didn't appear before Parliament's Portfolio Committee on health this morning. He was advised by his legal team not to comment on a sub judice basis. Courtesy #DStv403
