State CM's Say Extension of Lockdown Necessary

As the proposed date for the nationwide lockdown comes to a close, State governments across the nation have appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to consider extending the lockdown. While Orissa has already extended the lockdown, other states like Maharashtra and Kerala are in the process of discussing if the lockdown must be lifted in phases. According to a recent ICMR report, if not checked, an infected person could spread the virus to about 406 people.
