In a 50-minute interview to Karan Thapar for The Wire Naushad Forbes said: “No doubt we will need fiscal stimulus when a vaccine happens” but he pointedly added “we also need it now to reduce economic uncertainty because of the prevailing health uncertainty.” Naushad Forbes said already there’s been “far too much of a delay”. He said the government’s response “needs to be fast-paced” or it runs the risk “it will be too late”.
