Haryana's BJP President Says, Will Return To Power With Greater Majority This Time

With elections to the Haryana Assembly due soon, state BJP president Subhash Barala is confident that his party would return to power with even more seats this time.
In an interview to Gaurav Vivek Bhatnagar of The Wire, Barala claimed that BJP has won the hearts and minds of people in the state by taking up the slogan of “Haryana ek, Haryanvi ek” (Haryana one, Haryanvi one) seriously and changing the system.
Insisting that before the BJP government, the state was plagued by politics of dynastic rule, regionalism, casteism and corruption, he said these were the elements the Manohar Lal Khattar government changed. By making various processes transparent, as in employment, the government tried to remove corruption.
With the BJP government giving more jobs than any previous government, the farmers getting the first major loan waiver and better prices for their produce, and the opposition struggling with infighting and family feuds, Barala exuded confidence that BJP would be able to meet its target of over 75 seats in the 90-member House this time.
