The women students of Aligarh Muslim University had organised a three day Women Leadership Summit that was disrupted by a section of male students from the University. The agitating students prevented The Wire’s Senior Editor Arfa Khanum Sherwani from speaking in the event and even carried out a march protesting against a social media post on Holi that she had shared recently. The venue was changed and instead of the main campus, her talk was hosted by Women’s College the next day. Here is her speech at Women’s College.
