The Longest Rail Road Bridge in Northeast: Bogibeel bridge

On 25th December 2018, Bogibeel Bridge will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda laid the foundation stone for the Bogibeel bridge in January 1997, but work started only in April 2002, when Atal Bihari Vajpayee inaugurated the construction.
