The song I’m presenting now is a classic one sang by the great Teresa Tang (one of the most iconic singers not only in China but all around Asia) in 1979. Her pure and mellow voice shines specially in romantic ballads such as “The moon represents my heart” or “When will you return”.
She even became part of the popular culture of that time as we can see in the acclaimed Hong Kong movie “Comrades: almost a love story” originally titled “Tian mi mi” (“Sweet as honey”) after Teresa’s song.
Her music can be heard throughout the film as if it was the life soundtrack of many people during those years.

Last year I had the chance to travel for the first time to China, it was such an incredible adventure! I could experience a totally different culture through the guidance and help of wonderful locals who treated me like I was an old friend. I felt deeply touched and inspired after this trip, as you can see even in my profile picture .
So I’d like to dedicate the following videos of this series to the wonderful people I met during that awesome journey. Thank you guys, you really made my trip!!
