The Asian Boxing Championship 2021 in Dubai witnessed Indian stalwart May Kom bagging the Silver Medal.  She lost to Kazakhstan’s Nazym Kyzaibay on Sunday by a narrow-split second in the 51 KG category. The bout went 3-2 in the Kazakh opponent’s favour. The six-time world champion had defeated Lutsaikhan Altantsetseg in the semifinals on Thursday to make way into the finals of the event. This was quite a crucial win ahead of the Tokyo Olympics 2020 which starts in July.
