Maharashtra govt extends lockdown till June 15, curbs to be eased in districts reporting dip in cases

The Covid induced lockdown has been extended in Maharashtra till June 15. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackery said that Covid curbs will be eased in districts where the case positivity rate is less than ten per cent and occupancy of oxygen beds is less than 40 per cent. On the other hand, in districts where cases are rising, more curbs will be imposed.
Essential shops that are currently allowed to operate between 7am to 11 am will now be allowed to operate till 2 pm.
