Delhi begins the process of lifting the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions from today. The national capital for the first time on Sunday saw the daily case number drop below 1,000 in over two months. The positivity rate stood at 1.25 per cent. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had earlier announced the resumption of two activities—construction and production—from May 31. The chief minister stressed that as daily cases of Covid-19 decline, the government will loosen the restrictions and allow more activities to open up in the city.
