Antigua Opposition leader slams govt for requesting 'direct extradition' of Mehul Choksi to India

A prominent opposition leader in Antigua and Barbuda has criticised the government for requesting the handing over of fugitive businessman Mehul Choksi, who was held in Dominica on May 26, directly to India, saying it is in abeyance to the Antiguan laws. 
Harold Lovell, the leader of the United Progressive Party (Antigua and Barbuda) and a former Cabinet minister, said according to the Antiguan laws, their citizens cannot be extradited to another country.
