India reported 1,73,790 new Covid-19 cases on May 29 and 3,617 fatalities in the last 24 hours by taking the tally to 3,22,512. 2,84,601 people were discharged in the same duration. Currently, the country has 22,28,724 active cases. So far, 20,89,02,445 people have been vaccinated. As per Indian Council of Medical Research (IMCR), 34,11,19,909 samples were tested for Covid-19 up to May 28, 2021. Of these, 20,80,048 samples were tested yesterday.
