Subodh Kumar Jaiswal, chief of CISF, has been appointed as the new director of CBI. His term will be for two years. The decision was taken at a meeting of the High Level Committee held on Monday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The committee included Chief Justice of India NV Ramana and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.
