Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
(2010), Scott Pilgrim is a bass guitarist that's in search of fame with his band, Sex Bob-Omb.

Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese
(2019), This documentary / fiction is the story of one of the greatest singer-songwriter of History. The movie is focused on Bob Dylan's 1975 concert tour.

School of Rock
(2003), Dewey Finn, is a struggling musician. To be able to pay his bills, he disguises himself as a substitute teacher for fifth graders. As he goes on he realizes that they have musical talent, and decides to create a rock band.

Back to the Future
(1985), If the theme of the movie is about going back in time or going to the future, there are some great scenes with musical performances. And the soundtrack is worth the watch.

The Dirt
(2019), Want to know what happens in a heavy metal band? This biographical movie about Mötley Crüe is a great insight from the creation of the band in the 70's until nowadays.

(2008), What is interesting about this documentary is how it follows the English rock band Oasis, when they were at the top of their career, in the 90's. As well as the relationship between the Gallagher brothers that caused the group to split.
