Govt accepting proposals for Australian vaccine manufacture

The federal government is accepting proposals from companies to set up local manufacture of MRNA technology. Professor Tony Cunningham, an infectious diseases physician and clinical virologist, says it is important for Australia to improve its capacity for research and development in vaccine manufacturing.
