Should Celtics Consider Trading Robert Williams?
With Game 1 vs the Nets in NBA playoffs being a few days away, Williams still has a chance to recover and return by game time (Saturday). Although, should the Celtics count on the Timelord and his health going forward?

During the 118-100 win over the Wizards in the NBA Play-In Tournament, starting big man Robert Williams left the game after re-aggravating a left turf-toe injury while tripping over the feet of teammate, Jayson Tatum.

Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said after practice on Thursday, “He’s still really sore. You know, he’ll continue to be day-to-day but I can’t imagine him practicing tomorrow based on how he was walking around today.”

Williams won the starting job for the Celtics once Daniel Theis was traded. For the season, the Timelord is averaging a career-high 8.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game, all while starting 13 games and averaging 18.9 minutes per game.

Despite his rise, Williams keeps getting hindered by injures since being drafted by the Celtics in 2018. Bob Ryan and Jeff Goodman preview the Celtics vs Nets series while highlighting recent injuries and its' impact. The podcast then brings up a very important question about if the Celtics can trust Williams to stay healthy or is it time to move on? Goodman brings up a trade idea that includes Williams that would help bring the Celtics another All-Star.
