মেরিল-প্রথম আলো পুরস্কারের ২১তম আসর বসেছিল রাজধানীর বঙ্গবন্ধু আন্তর্জাতিক সম্মেলন কেন্দ্রের হল অব ফেমে। অসংখ্য তারকার উপস্থিতিতে আসরটি আনন্দ উৎসবে রূপ নিয়েছিল। তারকাদের পাশাপাশি আমন্ত্রিত অতিথিরাও অনুষ্ঠানে শামিল হয়েছেন। সূচনা অনুষ্ঠান সঞ্চালনা করেছেন আনিসুল হক ও জয়া আহসান। আর মূল অনুষ্ঠান উপস্থাপনা করছেন অভিনেতা চঞ্চল চৌধুরী, ফেরদৌস ও অভিনেত্রী নুসরাত ফারিয়া
