The federal government has rejected the Penang state government's application to receive 2 million doses of the Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine from a private company for the use of the people of Penang without incurring any cost to the federal government.

During a press conference today, Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow urged the federal government to approve the request as it would not cost the PN government a single cent.
