Triple Covid-19 lockdown announced in 4 districts of Kerala

Amid the surge in Covid-19 cases, strict restrictions were implemented in 4 districts of Kerala as triple lockdown got imposed in the state from 16 May midnight. The streets wore a deserted look in Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam districts on morning of May 17. Kerala police was on strict vigil to enforce lockdown restrictions. Strict checking of vehicular movements across the state and only passengers with passes are allowed to travel amid the lockdown.
