Ed Markey, long overshadowed by his fellow Senator for Massachusetts Elizabeth Warren, has been making legislative waves since winning reelection in November. Local experts say, his primary win against Joe Kennedy III has given the Senator a new zeal. There are lots of comparisons between Markey and the more famous Bernie Sanders and we ask the question: is Markey Sanders' natural successor?
We speak with David Hopkins, associate professor of political science, Boston College and Anne Danehy, former Massachusetts political strategist and polling expert, now lecturer at Boston University.

THEY CALLED ON THE SENATOR TO TAKE A HARDER STAND AGAINST ISRAEL FOR IT'S ROLE IN THE ESCALATING VIOLENCE IN THE REGION.
AS FOR POLICY- IN A CLOSELY DIVIDED HOUSE AND SENATE, WHETHER HIS LEGISLATION IS PASSED-THAT'S STILL UP FOR DEBATE.
