Orange alert has been issued to Mumbai, Thane and Palghar districts and red alert has been issued to Raigad district on the backdrop of cyclone Tauktae. The concerned district and state administration has made all preparations for the rescue and relief work of the citizens. In view of the high intensity cyclone warning issued by the Indian Meteorological Department to Maharashtra, the Covid-19 vaccination drive in Mumbai stands cancelled on Monday, May 17. The vaccination drive will continue as planned between May 18 and May 20.
