Delhi govt extends lockdown for another week

In an effort to stop the spread of Covid-19 infection, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on May 16 extended the lockdown in the national capital for another week till May 24. Kejriwal said, “We have extended the lockdown in Delhi observing the positive outcomes of the lockdown. 6,500 positive cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. Positivity rate has also dropped to 10 per cent from 11 per cent. No exemption on Metro rail services, suspension till further orders.”
