Mumbai: Cyclone intensifies, heavy rain in various parts

Coastal Mumbai is already seeing a trailer of an impending cyclone. The depression in the Arabian Sea is likely to intensify. The weather condition expected to escalate into a 'very severe cyclonic storm' called 'Tauktae'. India Meteorological Department has alerted the states along the western coast. To cope with the situation, more than 24 NDRF teams have been deployed in five states. The cyclone comes at a time when India is fighting a ferocious battle against COVID-19.
