Five children die after drowning in Ludhiana

At least five children and a man lost their lives after drowning into a pond in Ludhiana, Punjab. The 22-year-old man, jumped into the pond to save the children from drowning, but unfortunately lost his life too. Among five children, three were girls. The incident occurred in Mangarh village in Ludhiana. Ex-gratia of Rs 50,000 has been announced for the families of each deceased.
