Akshaya Tritiya is one the most auspicious days of the year. In Sanskrit, Akshaya means eternal and Tritiya refers to the third day of the Shukla Paksha or Full Moon phase. Akshaya Tritiyaalso known as Akha Teej in some parts of the country. Several devotees arrived at a ghat in Varanasi despite COVID restrictions and took a holy dip in river Ganga.

आज Akshaya Tritiya मनाई जा रही है। Akshaya Tritiya को Akha Teej के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। वैशाख मास की तृतीया तिथि का हिंदू धर्म में बहुत महत्व माना गया है। इस दिन को अक्षय तृतीया और भगवान परशुराम के जन्मोत्सव के रूप में भी मनाया जाता है। इस पावन पर्व पर गंगा घाट पर सुबह से ही भक्तों का तांता लगा हुआ है। श्रद्धालुओं ने आस्था की डुबकी लगाई है।
