The vaccination drive for citizens between 18-44 years of age has been halted by the Karnataka government due to a shortage of vaccines in the state. Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister DV Sadananda Gowda assured that more vaccines will be provided to the state in the upcoming 3-4 days. Union Minister Gowda accepted that the production is not up to the expectations of the government. “In recent days, the production is not up to the expectations of the government. So, we could not provide vaccines. It will take another 3-4 days to provide more vaccines to Karnataka. Exact figures I can't say,” said Union Minister DV Sadananda Gowda.
